About the Role


Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
• Lead the organization’s digital strategy across web, mobile, and digital platforms.
• Translate business and member needs into clear, executable digital roadmaps.
• Champion digital innovation that improves member experience, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
• Stay current on digital trends and capabilities relevant to digital services.
Digital Product & Delivery
• Lead the design and delivery of national digital applications and platforms.
• Ensure strong product definition, requirements, and end-to-end customer experience.
• Oversee digital project and vendor management, ensuring quality, consistency, and delivery discipline.
• Ensure national digital deliverables are clearly defined and met.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead and develop the national digital team across product, delivery, UX, and digital operations.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and outcome-focused culture.
• Coach and support teams to define solutions and deliver to outcomes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to align priorities and execution.
• Communicate digital priorities, progress, and risks clearly to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in digital media, design, marketing, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years leading digital initiatives, including web, mobile, and platform-based services.
• Strong background in project, program, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale digital programs in complex, distributed organizations.
• Proven experience managing teams, vendors, and budgets.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.

About the Company


The Head of Digital is responsible for defining and executing the organization’s national digital strategy and leading the delivery of digital products and platforms across a distributed network in Canada and North America.
This is a delivery-led leadership role grounded in project and program management.
The Head of Digital is accountable for digital programs, timelines, budgets, vendor performance, and execution across multiple stakeholders, ensuring digital initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to clearly defined outcomes.
