About the Role

Responsibilities

• Develop client solutions for analytics, reporting, modeling, data tools and infrastructure from onboarding through execution to meet their business requirements
• Guide the long-term vision and work with Technology to develop the architecture for data pipelines, data storage, and data models to provide fast-access, large-scale analytics solutions
• Provide guidance on client KPIs and metrics and work with Strategy, Technology, and other departments to implement requirements to meet those objectives
• Understand and apply the use cases for, insights from, and benefits of aggregate measurement platforms (e.g., website traffic, digital media) versus individualize data (e.g., CRM, customer profiles)
• Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Adobe suite, Google Analytics, etc.), visualization and exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, etc.), and data science / ML platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure ML)
• Manage, mentor, and grow a talented Analytics and Data Science team (currently 7 and growing)
• Foster a continuous learning environment and agency evolution with respect to emerging technologies and methodologies
• Interpret data and reports to uncover insights and work with the Strategy team and other stakeholders to incorporate insights and learning into future client work
• Contribute to business development efforts by providing estimating effort and developing methodologies that address client requirements
• Understand the contracted scope of work and monitor efforts to proactively identify potential out-of-scope activities and bring to the attention of the project leader

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Masters / PhD beneficial) in statistics, information technology or computer science, data science or related field
• 8+ years of experience consulting clients on making strategic investment decisions to improve business results, establishing business objectives and KPIs, and leading an Analytics / Data Science team
• A have strong functional experience (preferably hands-on practical experience) with current marketing analytics, adtech, martech and research techniques, as well as an innovative vision on how to adapt and succeed in the ever-changing marketing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to quality check the team’s work to ensure that data anomalies/mistakes are caught prior to delivery of the analysis to the client teams
• Outgoing, collaborative, and able to integrate with many departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced agency environment
• Able to establish and foster relationships with technology and research partners including negotiating contracts when required
• Strong organization skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while achieving high-quality standards and meet deadlines with (sometimes) ambiguous requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Project management and/or team leadership experience is beneficial
• Consulting experience is beneficial
• Related certifications are beneficial (e.g., Adobe Analytics Business Practitioner, Google Marketing Platform Certification(s), etc.)
