About the Role

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director Marketing Automation Solutions, the role of Lead Campaign Manager will be responsible to lead and oversee campaign build and execution across various marketing automation platforms while providing necessary guidance to Sr and Jr Campaign Managers.

The Campaign Manager Lead works closely with internal stakeholders to provide input on solutions for CRM marketing programs while bringing innovation, knowledge and expertise to help maximize campaign execution. The responsibilities include supporting and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Accounts, Project Management, and Development to ensure flawless campaign execution.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be technically driven, accustomed to working with internal stakeholders directly, strong-leadership skills and have in-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices and marketing automation platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all campaign deployments and ensure backend setup and email creative are accurate
• Accountable to ensure all campaign deployments are going out accurately and on-time
• Keep track of upcoming and active campaign deployments by all campaign managers
• Build and deploy email marketing campaigns via marketing automation platform, including development of workflows, email setup, list management, form creations, A/B testing and automated triggers
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team (developers, account directors, creative, QA and digital project managers) as needed to support high quality campaign builds
• Participate in campaign briefing and extract campaign implementation requirements and define solutions required to support CRM programs
• Assist business stakeholders in drawing insights from data to determine campaign success and further strategy development
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on CRM related practices such as deliverability, compliance, email-performance and best practices
• Participate in meetings where email best practices, CASL rules and strategy are being discussed
• Propose solutions and build proof of concepts for leveraging new tools available in the automation platform or new methods of implementing the CRM programs
• Identify areas of opportunity within campaign and CRM processes and work with the team and management to clarify and simplify complex processes
• Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards, as well as production schedules and deadlines for all projects
• Perform other related functions and responsibilities as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of data-driven campaigns and digital marketing solutions
• Hands-on experience using Campaign Marketing Automation platforms building workflows, segmenting data, creating dynamic content, deploying email campaigns and configuring customer journeys
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred skill), Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Acoustic Campaign (IBM / Silverpop), and Oracle’s Eloqua
• Certification in SFMC, Adobe Campaign or similar is desired
• Subject Matter Expert in one or more of primary areas (compliance, deliverability, data analysis and security, email best practice and strategy)
• Experience in facilitating discussions amongst multiple stakeholders, preferably experience in professional services environment interfacing with clients and vendors
• Remain current and leverage marketing automation industry best practices and benchmarks
• Familiar with working in an Agile environment and using tools including JIRA
• Demonstrated an ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment and possess time management skills in meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
