Account Executive

About the Role

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for the management of projects on specific account mandates and act as the key point of contact between the Agency, Integrated Agency Teams, and the client. You will work closely with various departments throughout the entire project (Strategy, Creative, Technology and Data / Analytics and Fulfillment) to deliver the highest quality work. You will build solid professional relationships and connections with clients.

Client Relationship Management

• Keep clients up to date on all projects
• Works alongside account team members to discuss issues and solutions with clients
• Ensure all client requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner (working closely with
project management team)
• Keep all agency departments informed on client/account developments
• Keep senior accounts team informed on projects
• Proactive at initiating projects internally

Project Management
• Initiate new client project intake process and facilitate kick-off
• Aid in the development of internal briefing documents (creative, tech, and campaign project brief).
• Manage day-to-day account activities, internal and external
• Play an active role in the creative development of projects
• Participate in marketing planning and assume responsibility for execution and all operational aspects
of projects
• Prepare specific project documents
• Review all creative/production material at every stage
• Manage and/or assist account team members, and assist on other accounts as need


• Post-secondary degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Commerce or Science
• 1-2 years of experience in an account management/agency role
• Experience with CRM campaigns and technology platforms
• Healthcare experience is an asset
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors and external agency partners
• Demonstrated interest and passion for communications/relationship marketing/digital
• Detail oriented
• Outstanding organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong client management skills
• Proactive and independent problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills, both internally and with clients
• Budget management experience is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
• Strong team player with a commitment to excellence
